Description
The Afghans and Mughals remained in a war with each other for a long time even before the arrival of Babur. This tussle was not limited in Kabul and its surroundings, but it continued in India as well where Afghans were influential. Babur had to subjugate powerful and stubborn Afghans before the conquest of India as they were present between Delhi and Kabul. The Afghans were Babur's rival and they never reconciled with Babur happily. They had always resisted Babur invasion and most of the time, they were put to the sword. In this paper, we will try to examine the actual cause and the origin of Mughal-Afghans conflict
