A glossary (from Ancient Greek: γλῶσσα / language, speech, wording) also known as a vocabulary or clavis, is an alphabetical list of terms in a particular domain of knowledge with the definitions for those terms. The inscriptions and seals elaborate on the notion of distinct levels of authority in the Mughal library.
