Bahadur Shah I, c.1750-70. Portrait of Emperor Bahadur Shah I seated at a jharokha window wearing a plain white jama and jeweled turban, his head surrounded by a golden halo. He faces left holding a small jade-handled fly whisk and holds his right hand out in front of him. Both the fabrics draping the window and the wall area surrounding are surrounding it are decorated with repeat floral motifs in pink and green against white backgrounds as seen in other paintings in this album.
