Description 


recto: 


Mughal lady, mid-18th century. Painting of a Mughal lady standing facing right in a garden on the bank of a lotus lake holding a small cup and a bottle. The top and right of the painting have been extended and the background added later. 


verso: 


Pair of golden orioles, mid-18th century. Painting of two golden orioles against an uncoloured background surrounded by flowering plants. The upper bird has a winged insect in his beak.
