The first Muslim invaders of India were the Arabs. Their activities were practically confined to the lower Indus regions — the Sindh - and the outer fringe of the Indian political life and diacivilization. Their occupation of Sindh was only an episode in lndlan history, full of interest in its own way, ' but not destined to influence seriously the Political and economic structure of Hindu lndia.
