Description
Farid ud din Attar occupies a prominent place in roll of distinguished persian poets. His most famous work famous, written eight century ago, is the Mantiq-ul-Tayr, or the "Colloquy of the Birds" an allegorical poem in which the gifted mystio describes the quest of the Birds for the simurg.
