The Sipahi Juddher book is one of some rare works that were done in Bengali language as it depicts the historic time of Indian mutiny of 1857 in the perspective of Bengal which is beautifully penned down by Rajani Kanta Gupta and is credited to be the last part out of a 4 volume series. That historic milestone contains vast information regarding what part the British army played and how the sipahis of India which constituted both Hindus and Muslims reacted which is presented in this piece of literature considering the vantage point of what happened in Calcutta.
