TRANSLATION

Huzoor Wala

It has been discovered that Mirza Shah Rukh Bahadur had intended to go hunting and sightseeing towards Gana Kot Qasim and had also loaded the carriages for this purpose. During this time, Hamid Ali Khan made a representation to Sahib Kalan Bahadur, saying that Mirza Shahrukh Bahadur is proceeding towards Gana Kot Qasim, and he was close to that person.

It was feared that this might lead to trouble. Consequently, the esteemed Sahib sent a formal request to prevent Mirza's departure towards the mentioned Gana, to be presented in his august presence. His Highness observed with displeasure regarding the mentioned Khan and instructed Mirza in question to postpone his intended visit to Kot Qasim and to summon Raja Mohan Lal for the purpose of obtaining authority. Accordingly, as requested, the mentioned Raja appeared.

And, as a token of respect, Mirza presented five rupees to the mentioned Mirza. Mirza made some complaints about Hamid Ali Khan and brought some derogatory words about the esteemed Khan to his lips, saying that considering you a wise and prudent man, we have called you for the purpose of authority, and Raja Jay Singh Rai will remain as a trustworthy person. The mentioned Raja requested that His Highness grant the robe of authority to Raja Jay Singh.

After a long period of seclusion, no agreement was reached, and the mentioned Raja emerged. It is said that the mentioned Raja did not agree to have someone act as a trustee over him. It was heard that eventually, Zameer al Daulah Agha Haider was granted the robe of authority, detailed circumstances were not heard.
