To—The  King  !  Shelter  of  the  World  

RESPECTFULLY  SHEWETH—That  a  petition  has  this  day  been received  from  the  inhabitants  of  the  City,  to  the  effect  that they  have  been  directed  by  the  Chief  Police  Officer  to  wait armed  and  ina  body,  on  the  Officers  ofthe  Troops  arrived from  Bareilly.  It  does  not  appear  what  the  object  of  this order  is.  Your  petitioner  therefore  suggests  that  such  orders as  may  be  necessary  in  this  case  may  be  issued,  so  that  they may  be  complied  with.  Petition  of  the  Slave,  Mirza  Muham- mad  Zohur-ud-din  Bahadur.  Official Seal  of  the  Commander in Chief  Bahadur.
