DESCRIPTION
The royal procession of Shah Alam II with his army processing from right to left along the banks of a river. The painting shows a landscape with paddy fields and a small city in the distance. There are boats on the river (which is probably the Jumna) and cannons and troops in the middle distance. It is possible the this painting depicts the move of the court from Allahabad to Delhi.
